A rising resting heart rate is supposed to be correlated with getting sick, needing more sleep, etc…

It would be nice to get it from Apple Health to see what the correlations are between resting heart rate and other things that are being captured inside exist.io

It’s an easy number to measure and its measured automatically by the apple watch and by a lot of other devices.

+1 for this. At the moment Exist only tracks average heart rate and I can see that this is so closely correlated with “time working out” that it feels like they are pretty much the same thing. I agree with Ioan that resting heart rate would give more opportunities for insight.

I’m with Andreas in a vote for Fitbit-integrated resting heart rate.

Yup. Would love this. My resting heart rate spiked a couple of days ago. Staying home with a really bad cold today. Works like clockwork.

The other thing is that Apple doesn’t get it from Garmin. So it might be necessary to do some hoops to get out of various devices.

I would note that Garmin just started synching their Resting Heart Rate data to Apple Health. Maybe too for Google/Android? In any case, that deals with another vector for getting data into Exist.

    Thank you!
