I have attempted thrice to upload a resource link, but the interface hangs after I press the submit button.Waiting 20 minutes yielded the same result. I am using Windows 10 w/latest update; Chrome with uBlock Origin; going through a VPN.

That’s odd. Could you try logging out, doing a ‘hard refresh’ (hold shift while you press referesh), and then login again?
I could add a collection to my community, but unwittingly created another collection so it’s out there twice and I can’t delete it. I was unable to add an image. Entered the URL and all there was was a grey box.
Thanks James, we’re not allowing for deletion at the moment (as we haven’t implemented moderation) so perhaps you could rename the collection to something else?
MoodleNet fetches the image directly, so if there was a grey box I can think of three potential issues:

Not so sure about hot linking protection. The image was a simple screen capture I made for the site I run. I clicked on copy link and added that. Unsure about possible interference from a web browser extension. I use Safari and having included any. Would using Safari on an iMac have anything to do with being unable to add an image? BTW - I have the same problem when trying to add a resource to a collection. I add the URL and click but nothing happens.

No change after doing a hard reset. Still unable to include a link. The link I am trying to add is http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page. I will try this from Linux some time.

Yes, MediaWiki-based sites are causing us some issues. I’ve asked the team to look into trying a different approach: https://gitlab.com/moodlenet/servers/federated/issues/82
Still cannot add the same link to a collection. What’s worse, a page refresh after cancelling the link seems to have reset my account or the data associated with it: the display language changed, and I have been unjoined from the communities I joined.
