*Make it easier to add images

Obtaining a URL of an image is not so easy. How about providing the option to upload an image?

Until we have uploads in MoodleNet we want to keep everything URL-based. We could, however, investigate using the Unsplash API to allow users to easily search for an image?

what you need to do is tell people the best image size to pick, maybe even curate a flickr photo of square images but if you just add (suggested image size 250X250) that would work.

I don’t want to start getting into pixel sizes for images. That’s not a delightful user experience for most people ;)

Well, I’d like to make it much easier for people to add images, so if we can leverage the Unsplash API, so much the better!

I like this idea. Keeping everything link based is simple and if people can easily search for an open source image on a particular site you don’t have to worry about people uploading images that aren’t copyright cleared. They might still link to these but they will be easier to take down if you get issued with a takedown request.
