For example, if you show the Total Taxes plot, turn off Sum, and go into Datasets to cherrypick the individual taxes you want to display, the Total Taxes shown in the hover pane / tooltip is still the total of all taxes, not just the datasets you selected. Suggestion is to add “Total Selected ” to the toolip above the “Total ” line.

This applies to all custom plots. For example, it’s weird when you turn off a major IRA withdrawal one year and the bar graph goes down to zero, but the “Withdrawals” total in the tooltip is still the total of all withdrawals regardless.
