It would be nice sometimes to be able to rearrange the ordering of the income items in the “Effective Brackets” visualization. The use case I’m thinking of is with roth conversions – it helps me see what’s going on if the roth conversion were the final income item (i.e., rightmost ordinary income item).

This would allow users to move the item they view as discretionary into the box that represents the marginal bracket, which I’ve found would make it somewhat easier to think about.
