Toggle milestones with a single click

When viewing a plan on desktop, the milestone icons at the top of the plan have a hover state to open their little “edit menu” but there is also an animation when I single click the milestone icon that doesn’t seem to do anything. I would like to be able to single-click on a milestone in the top bar and have it toggle enabled/disabled for quick what-if analysis and comparison rather than having to mouse over the milestone, click on the icon again, and then choose “Deactivate”.

I’m not sure how to handle this on mobile, but I’d at least like the option on desktop for “quick toggle” mode or something.

    It took me ages to figure out how to Deactivate/Reactivate a milestone. I click on the milestone icon in the Plan and it brings up the settings. But it’s not obvious at all that you click on the ICON in the popoup to get more settings! Even just having a HIDE button on the top right of the first Settings dialog (popup) would be great. Thanks. And by the way, there are a few blog articles on using Milestones and none of them show how to do this.

    Given that income and expense items can be easily toggled with a single click, it makes sense for the milestone behavior to be consistent and behave the same way. I realize that there is a more minimal UI for the milestones, so this is not as straightforward as with income/expenses, but hopefully there is a way to do this easily.

    Implementation idea: Promote milestones from the little icons at the top of the plan to their own panel underneath the plan where Accounts/Income/Expenses/etc panels live. The content that currently shows under Settings => Milestones would be moved here, and be presented in a way that a single click on the leading icon toggles the milestone (ie it works the same as income and expenses do).
