Puerto Rico taxes are an option (First Financial Planning Software I have seen that have it) but it is treated like any other State where is Fed Tax and “State tax” are charged. Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico don’t pay federal taxes and the system have them paying both Federal and Puerto Rico taxes (there are cases where Puerto Rican living in PR pay both taxes but they aren’t double taxed [they received a credit for tax paid]). The work around is with Custom Taxes but it doesn’t get right the Social Security Income that is exempt from Taxes (Puerto Rican receive SSI). It will be a game changer to have this Fixed.
