I agree, this would be very useful. It would also be useful to include (in the plan bar chart) an option to display in the x-axis the historical year that the data was taken from for applying to each column (ie. age/future year) in the plan. That would make it easier to see “this shock was the 1929/1930s great depression”, or “the 2000 dot com bust”, or “the 2008 financial crisis”, or “1970s inflation”, etc.

This should have more upvotes for us exploring different historical return settings and researching ‘why the s&p was -38% in 1937” especially with how easy it is to research things via ai. Right now i keep 2 screens open one the net worth graph if you click a year details on the right give historical year which can be cross referenced to that one. That in the popup of this report (and maybe others?) would he a time saver. Additional opportunity for some ai generated historical summary as previously mentioned.
