What are you looking for elsewhere that you need between sets?

I think this would be a nice feature. Sometimes I’m just wanting to see what’s ahead of me because I have a short memory and forget.

Yea, to me this is one of those features that should be a given. Not having it feels more like a bug, and having it just feels like that’s the way it should be in the first place.

It could be any of several things.

1 what else is left (related to super setting while it’s not actually a feature) 2 checking stats for the exercise from a previous day. This could be for the current exercise or for one already completed to see how I performed/might perform. 3 browse exercise database to figure out what i might use for a swap if equipment is busy or not available for the day.

Fyi, there’s an app called fitbod that has a great implementation of the slide down timer if you want to do thr trial to see how it works.

Are you needing to look at past sets for freestyle workouts? The assigned sets you get for additional exercises are based on what you did last time. So those are the ones to beat. How would looking back at the list add value?

mostly just for ai workouts, I just like to look at what I did last time vs this time after I complete a main lift. Coming up w supersets as a workout goes on if I’m getting short on time is a bigger use case

This was rejected because it breaks the workflow. Do a set, rest, then repeat. Check any landmarks you may need before starting the exercise. Do any admin stuff with exercise swaps and so on after finishing and before the next exercise. Work hard on those sets and then have a few moments of legitimate rest between sets.

Stuff happens on the fly and people forget/remember things on the whim. What else is there to do during rests besides stare at a wall?
