Integration with wearables and their respective apps.

Wear OS, Watch OS, Samsung Health, Google Fit, Apple Health, etc. They might not be the BEST options but they are by far the most widely used and available, and lots of us already use them for other things, so I think it just makes sense.

Average HR for workout. Start and stop times. I know some apps use wearables to auto-count reps which could be cool if reliable. Would also be nice to have a dedicated watch app so I don’t even need to be on my phone, but that’s probably a whole different post. Perhaps SG could even read data from Google Fit to see if recent activity (high step count, cardio, biking, etc.) had a positive or negative influence on your SG workout performance. Could also read sleep data and we could skip the manual sleep rating entry.

I occasionally use my Apple Watch along with my Whoop which provide substantial heart rate data that would be beneficial to seeing how my heart rate is during different reps. I know that the app asks for a Bluetooth device when looking for a heart rate monitor but I don’t see why we cannot just extract that info from any of these devices.

Could you pull HR from a Fitbit or other wearable that displays in between sets?

Found info on reliability of most wearables data which renders them non reliable.

I would prefer to use my garmin watch to control my sets during training rather than some automatic import of health data.

Comparability with the Garmin Fenix series would be amazing. I have to enter the data into the Garmin watch and the Sheiko app while working out. Then, I have to edit the actual lifts / names in the Garmin connect app after the exercise is uploaded.

Suggestion: A great feature would be to upload the exercise to Garmin or Garmin Connect app after the pre workout check in data is entered and the workout for the day is developed.

It would be enough to make some Bluetooth API to control sets. Confirm set with some weight, repetitions, set difficulty and receive information about current and next set.

Would be great to integrate into health centre (android) and apple health. Would share the workout duration, exercises done, reps sets etc woth timestamps. This would then allow apps like whoop to take that data and match it to HR a d other metrics at those times to help track strain.

Additionally, sheiko could then pull data from the health centre such as sleep performance, HRV, weight to autopopulate some data in the readiness survey
