macOS Version of Reflect

Data analysis on a mobile device is limited both in terms of memory and compute. Supporting macOS would allow for larger data sets and faster analysis.

Wouldn’t a quick fix for this be to allow the iOS app to be downloaded on Mac silicon?

Releasing a macOS version of the app has a separate App Store review process from the iOS applications - we have already run macOS versions in development which mostly work, but there’s a few basic issues with the UI that differ from iOS that would need to be addressed.

Yes, a MacOS version would add huge value.

For your consideration: Please include a URI scheme to enable linking to specific screens (e.g. Goal A or metric B) from other Mac applications.

This would be amazing and I agree with the OP. I found Reflect this morning, and bought an iPad about 30 minutes later… haha. I even copied the link to this site from my phone and sent it over to my computer so I could send this message and interact here.

Lots of reasons, but for me, it’s eye comfort (my eyes get really strained on small screens).

I absolutely would love to do the bulk of the work and visualization on the big Mac screen and comfortable keyboard. I’d like to use the phone app only for input on the road and also for siphoning necessary health tracker data out of Apple Health.
