Hi Tomáš, the current Apple Health integration will record workouts and their duration, and have the activity type listed (though there is no metric for tracking duration of strength training as opposed to other activities). Is this what you’re requesting, to have a specific metric for duration of strength training in addition to total workout duration?

Hi. Hmm. I just do not see the strength metric in my list at all: https://share.cleanshot.com/N0s19tDL5f61kNvZZ4DJ

Hi Tomáš, it appears that the term “Functional Strength Training”, for example, is a tag that’s added to a workout metric called “Activity Type” in the Apple Health Workout form. That should appear in your Apple Health Workout form history.

There are a few things to mention here:

    • You may view insights for “Duration” by searching for that term
    • However, this will not filter for strength workouts specifically, but include all types of workouts. Supporting this type of filtering is something we plan to implement some time in the future. It’s good to know this is important to you, because feedback like this informs our priorities.

Hopefully this helps, please let us know if there is anything additional we can help you with. We apologize for the late reply.

Also wanted to register interest in supporting filtering by Activity Type! It would lighten the load for daily manual entry by quite a bit for me once implemented.

I’m confused by this. I log my strength training with an app called Liftin’ and this gets recorded as Traditional Strength Training. Start time, end time, and duration are all captured by apple health and sent into Reflect.

I believe what’s intended by this suggestion is to have a metric in Reflect that specifically captures time for each activity type - that way you could for example plot the duration of your strength training over time, as opposed to just workout duration in general.
