I’d rather the quality controls be a button like it was before. For me at least, I don’t toggle the quality control ever, and I don’t think in use cases where people do, it is done often enough to warrant a gesture. A swipe down gesture to remove the stream info overlay would be nice in its stead, though.

Hey Jack - thanks for the feedback. For the time being we’re going to stick with the pattern Apple have established in video players throughout tvOS for this, but I’ve made a note to reevaluate.

I agree with Jack Emerson (useful only sometimes). I also prefer to change the stream’s quality by button. Should be something more useful in swipe down gesture.

…maybe something like: other favorite channels for quick change or stream info, clock
