Customise the order would be awesome. I think it is in order of following date. Order into alphabetical, and create a personal order would be great. :)
I would also be cool to have a option based on when they last streamed like the iOS app
I mentioned this on Twitter some time ago.
The main friction for me was when I catch up on VODs of a particular streamer I added years ago, I always have to go through the “ALL” view, so scroll down, scroll right, enter “ALL”, then scroll more to find streamer..
One idea that came up was that perhaps the most recently visited / viewed / followed channels, would move to the top of the list.. But in practice I think that would not work very well as you explore other channels or check streamers vods you haven’t checked in a while, they will again replace the ones you want to have more easily accessible on the main view (before entering “ALL”).
Lately I found a workaround: I unfollow then follow a second later (without leaving the channel’s page). Now this streamer is at the start of the list.
Of course this workaround is bad, since I lose the “follow age” and any perks that may be linked to the continued following (I don’t know how this affects subs). But since I mainly lurk from my Apple TV… I was like.. whatever..
So now I have 4-5 of the streamers I watch the most more readily available on the main view without having to go through “ALL”.
This workaround is actually better than my previous idea since it’s manual, I have more control over the order.
I think by default sorting on “date followed” is fine. It gives you a mental map of how long you’ve been following someone (unless.. you use my workaround above).
I don’t know what OP’s need is so I just explained how the follow order affects me (friction to get to VODs and channels I am more interested in).
