Weather integration for each day.

Not sure if anyone had already suggested this feature. Information about the Weather would be very convenient as it provides good input on the conditions we were traveling from one place to another and the time it took due to this reason. Where I live in Alberta the weather affects greatly the traffic and what usually takes 9 minutes, in winter can take you 45 minutes, that is how bad it can be. On days we are not leaving home because it is -60 Celsius, having a record of the weather would help know the reason why we spent longer time on that location. Thanks so much Matt for your excellent work developing the Arc App.

I’m keen on this feature too!

I would ideally like each timeline item to have a record of the weather conditions for the item’s time period. So if it was raining while commuting to work, the commute’s timeline item should show that. Likewise if it was windy while running in the park, I’d want my park run timeline item to show that too (along with the temperature, etc).

Could that help the processing engine? As an example, Arc could guess that when it rains, it’s more likely that people will take the bus instead of the bike for commuting.

Matt, your idea about the weather integration in the Arc Timelines is definitely brilliant!!

Tiloit, that’s an interesting idea! I hadn’t thought of that.

I’ll note that down as something to explore and possibly experiment with, once it comes time to add the weather stuff.
