Custom Descriptions for Symptom Severity Scale

My rating of symptoms, custom ratings and factors is more consistent when I have a summary description of each level. Without the description, I might mark things lower some days just because my mood is lower.

Currently I have a separate document of custom rating scale descriptors (mostly generated with the help of AI) which I reference every time I do my tracking, switching between 2 apps all the time.

It would be great if I could tap on a little info button next to the symptom name and it would show a pop up of my scale for that symptom.

For common symptoms, perhaps there could be suggested default scales based on those commonly used to reduce the friction for people that would benefit from the scale but don’t have the bandwidth at the moment to set one up.

With this change, it would make the accuracy of my correlations much better, without the need to constantly switch apps.

You can view my mock up using the Google Drive link.

Hi Amy, thanks for submitting such a detailed request. If possible, could you send me a screen recording or screen grab of how you’re tracking your ‘custom rating scale descriptors’ to support@bearable.app - just so I can get a clearer picture of what you’re requesting.
