Allow for a default value for Factors

For instance, I avoid alcohol the vast majority of the time, so I’d like that metric to default to none.

Additionally, unclear how missing values are approached in each segment? Is missing factor equivalent to zero? Or excluded from correlation?

Hey Martha, thanks for the suggestion about defaulting certain factors to none. In terms of missing values, these aren’t included in your correlations unless it’s specifically and binary factor that hasn’t been marked as completed. Using ‘Gluten; as an example of a binary factor, if you leave it blank the app will assume you didn’t have Gluten, if you mark it for the day (or time period) the app will assume that you did have Gluten. This is only true for Binary factors and not variable ones (none, little, moderate, lots). Variable factors which are not marked as none, little, moderate, or lots - are excluded from your insights. That said, the team is aware that this could be an issue for binary factors and are looking into ways to improve this experience soon.
