More integrations with other apps/hardware (e.g. Fitbit, Oura, Garmin)
Fitbit seems like the best place to start and maybe we’ll add more in time, such as Fitbit, Samsung Health etc.

I’m a Fitbit app user (Charge 4 device). This app has a lot of data points to consider, many aren’t built into Bearable yet. So be ready to add a bunch of health measurements! Please feel free to reach out to me for user feedback as you develop this.
For me, I’ll want anything related to sleep, exercise and nutrition, and there are a ton of health measurements within.
@Brittany, I have been using free apps to move data into Bearable. Perhaps my info will help you.
The idea is to move your data into Google Fit, which has Bearable support. Google Fit is free. Since your data is in Samsung Health, get the free app called Health Sync from the App Store. It is an easy tool that lets you specify Samsung Health as your data source and Google Fit as the destination.
There are a few steps, like establishing a Google Fit account and activating Bearable’s Google Fit integration. So set aside an hour. Once done, Health Sync will run regularly in the background. I have its “Sync Frequency” setting at “every half hour” which seems to be pretty effective.
FYI: Google and Apple are all trying to be a one-stop shop for all data points in the health world. That allows vendors like Bearable to write code for much fewer apps, expecting every app to work with the one-stop shops. Bearable has done that with Google Fit. None-the-less, I feel that Samsung Health is also a one-stop shop which they should support. But you don’t need to wait or pay.
Final point: Bearable doesn’t bring over everything that you may capture in other health apps. Let them know when there is something that you wish to include in the data migration.
Would love to have this integration. I just started using Fitbit, and I’ve stopped using bearable because I don’t have time to enter data that the Fitbit is already tracking. However, bearable has a lot more variety for tracking moods and symptoms, so I’d like to have them integrated and use them both.
Please add syncing with Huawei Health! They have really affordable fitness bands that don’t break after 3 months like fitbits. They also take more metrics I need for my health condition, like SpO2 (blood oxygen) at an affordable price. Lots of limited/fixed income folks have Huawei Health because of their durability and affordability! Huawei users will appreciate y’all so much! Thank you!
This would save so much time and manual work! Please import full sleep data - including sleep stage duration. I notice a huge difference in quality of sleep if I get a long chunk of deep sleep in the beginning of the night, and I’d love to know which factors interfere with that.
Also workout data - type of workouts, duration, heart rate during workouts, etc - this is important to see if certain workouts are too intense and may be causing issues.
Obviously, period data, as well as the symptoms and factors already in Fitbit’s menstrual cycle tracking section (acne, cramps, intercourse, etc). If I already log it there, I shouldn’t have to log it again in Bearable.
Also please bring in HRV! Fitbit watches already track that info and it’s a great indicator of health.
Yes, sync with Fitbit would be awesome! But if not full sync, just easier integration- for example I use Fitbit to track food/calories so I really don’t need that here but I wish I could enter the macro percentages (% carbs, fats, protein) and maybe total calorie intake and deficit that Fitbit calculates to this app to see how that impacts symptoms. Would be so much better than just a label “high or low protein”.
I might be a lone voice here… but I just purchased a Polar Verity Sense heart rate sensor (specifically for use with another health/chronic illness tracking app…) It is a good quality sensor that connects via Bluetooth and it’s relatively affordable. In the other app I use, HR monitoring (and recording) is continuous, which would be amazing if combined with the power of Bearable! Plus, I just spotted this: https://github.com/polarofficial/create-mobile-app-for-polar-sensors
+1 for Garmin.
Didn’t love that I had to install two additional apps, setup accounts, and share my data around more places just to sync with Bearable…
Garmin is currently my one stop shop for tracking Activity, HR, HRV, Steps, Water, Period, and more. Would love for Bearable to natively pull this in.
The more Bearable can automatically import the lesser the burden on the end user, increasing their capacity and energy for tracking the non-measurable more nuanced factors.
