Maybe this could be integrated in some way with Goals - so rating productivity and listing out a checklist (daily, weekly, monthly, life). Or perhaps the productivity score could even be linked to how much of the checklist you completed.

It would be nice if we could make our own trackers here. I use a to-do list app and a tracking app already, if this could work like a tracking app it would be very versatile and useful

Agree with this! I already have a system for tasks and to-dos that I like, so I don’t necessarily want to migrate that, but having a way to keep track of productivity in a more robust way than just a few factors would be so helpful :)

I think it would be great if productivity could be it’s own category, like mood and energy are and it’s divided into three sections: productive time, ability to focus (with the five options from awful to great and the option to make multiple entries a day, just like in the energy section) and a tag section, like there is in the sleep section. Being able to track the hours you productive could help to find the optimale work/life balance and focus is quite important for people with add or depression. I think most people have already a to-do list app, but you could make tags like “completed all to-dos” in the tag-section.

Yes please! I’m currently using energy levels to do this instead of a dedicated productivity section

This is pretty much a habit tracker, right?

No, I’m thinking more in terms of what Alik is discussing

Hi all, glad to see so many of you want to track productivity in Bearable

We decided to go ahead with one version of this and start by implementing a tracker that is broader than just for productivity. Here’s our current design draft: https://www.reddit.com/r/BearableApp/comments/l7rowx/were_considering_working_on_a_simple_self/ (though it’s not too late to give further feedback!)

It’s branded as self improvement, and you can customise what you track like most other things in Bearable. For now it’s a single rating for each self improvement metric per day, but longer term we might add the ability to make multiple entries.

    Thanks all for your contributions!

Very excited about this! My doc is just now having me track my productivity/focus/etc and this is going to be perfect for that!

Love the addition of productivity teacher. Can we have it for each part of the day though like energy mood etc ?
