Import from other apps
I was using Daylio, which is nice but way fewer features. It can export into csv files, and I’d love a feature to import my entries from it into Bearable.

Agree with others where there are 2 basic similar ideas: 1) having basic local weather data (temp, pressure, cloud cover) 2) ability to sync several main data points from other major apps(fitbit, ihealth, Garmin, etc) would be excellent.
A user accessable import feature would seem like a separate request but listed in this as a 3 somewhat related feature.
I would love to be able to synch my meal food items that I record in My Fitness Pal app. I only use the My Fitness Pal app because I need to make sure I have a certain amount to protein and fibre every day and that I eat a certain amount of calories whilst working to recover from chronic illness and the app calculates that for me. I would like to synch my meal food items to Bearable so I could see if any trends with symptoms, activity etc. 🌸
My nutritionist has me using My Fitness Pal because it can more accurately track my exercise and food intake, but it doesn’t have all the features I like in Bearable. Would be nice to be able to import stuff like weight and nutrition data instead if having to enter it into two different apps every day.
Ditto to Welltory for HRV metrics! I would love especially compatibility with EliteHRV, if possible! They’ve made their excellent app free and accessible to anyone, while many HRV metric apps are behind paywalls. HRV is a vital metric for to determining energy levels for both athletes and those of us with dysautonomia conditions. Right now i just put my HRV in the “blood glucose” section, since luckily that’s not something i need to track right now.
Huawei Health, Garmin Connect, Polar Beat and Polar Flow are apps that would be great to have connectivity with!
Yup would love if it could sync with Apple Health like some of my other apps. I input my blood pressure, menstrual info (Flo app), etc there. It would be nice to see that data in Bearable so it’s truly comprehensive and a full picture. I have a blood pressure dysregulation disease, and it would be so helpful to see how my lowest pressure days, etc., affect other factors.
Would also be nice if it could sync with my Apple Watch Fitness data - did I close all my rings? Am I having trouble meeting my 30 mins of exercise on days when I have ____ symptom/factor that I can list in Bearable?
Love the app & it is so helpful for me; thank you! These are just suggestions for continual improvement!
Adding: yes, I add this info to my factors and symptoms where I can. “Low blood pressure” as an option, the menstruation section, and adding in “closed my rings” (on Apple Watch) as a factor. But with all of those, there’s more to the story and the ability to have numbers/data would be more comprehensive.
I use Apple health app to collect data from other apps so ability to pull more data from health app would be great. Also data from MyFitnessPal. Finally I have a great app for my medicines and dr appointments which is really important for me. Would be good to have similar functionality or else to import data from that app (Medisafe)
I would find Bearable at least 50% more effective if it directly imported my step count, exercise data (e.g. walks, runs, bike rides), sleep, and heart rate data from Garmin Connect. For privacy reasons, I’m not willing to share that data with Google, which means I’m missing out on a LOT of useful information in Bearable.
+1 for csv imports. Perhaps with a place users can provide tutorials on how to export from the sources they like to use and how they map that export to the csv import rules that govern bearable.
I do not want the creator of this fantastic app spending a bunch of time supporting integrations with all the other devices and apps out there right now when so many of those will go under, be acquired, or will just not work reliably all the time! :(
