Section for Stages of Grief

I would love a section for the stages of grief. It could either go in mood or on its own. Stages of grief could be stages of anything.

The stages of grief aren’t scientifically based <3

I thought there was some science. But it isn’t a linear thing. It doesn’t go from 1 to 5, you can experience all at once, go back and forth or skip stages.

Maybe you posted this because you’re going through this right now, and if that’s the case, I’m very sorry for your loss.

It’s true the “stages of grief” aren’t backed by scientific studies. They were just in a book by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross called “Death and Dying”. She wrote about the grief she saw terminally ill patients experiencing when accepting their illness. It basically amounts to an anecdote, but if those 5 stages are helping you move through your pain, that’s perfectly fine!

i like the idea of having a space for tracking grief. I think a good way to track it currently is writing it into a “significant event”. That way you can see how your mood, sleep and factors change over time!

i agree, adding it as a significant event and perhaps adding more specific moods along with notes on what you’re thinking or how you’re feeling is probably the best way to track this right now
