Add HRV (Heart Rythm Variability) to health measurements

Knowing your average HRV can tell you a lot about how your body is doing. This can be useful to track improvements, stress, rest, and if the body is fighting a virus/inflammation. For people with CFS it is used in the mornings to estimate if they are close to crashing and should rest more, or if they are doing well. They often adjust plans and schedules based on their HVR readings.

    I’m manually adding this at the moment. If it can’t be added, could it maybe be possible to manually add health info without a specific time of day? I’m adding my average HRV and it bothers me that it’s entered with a specific time rather than just the date.

    I am also adding this manually, but I would love to have a field for this, and to allow analysis which would show it certain things affect my HRV, and if a lower HRV will result in more or less symptons

    Yes, Welltory would be the ultimate HRV monitoring app to sync to. I also agree that some things should be “all day”.

    I’m manually adding my overnight HRV (fitbit sense) to the health metrics but it would be great to one day have it automatically imported with steps etc.

    I manually add it from Polar overnight measure at the moment. The HRV is used amongst other factors to build a value for the status of the autonomous nerve system = status of recreation.

    My current workaround: I track HRV and check daily averages. I added ”Low HRV” and ”High HRV” as Symptoms so I can track how my others factors relate to my average HRV in Insights. I just have some HRV every day as a ”symptom” for now.

    Sync for HRV should the night HRV or first measure in the morning. This is what sleep / exercise readiness apps like Athlytic use. Check their FAQ.
