Symptom Search (Universal search)
Add a search box in the symptoms category to make it easier to find symptoms.

Search for medicines, keywords in Factors and other sections, anything really, including Notes. Then, return ala Google style a table of links to each day that contains the keywords and a preview if the keyword shown in context.
For e.g., one might want to recall the first time they took a medication. Or, when trying to decide on a new Factor, one might want to search through Notes to see if it occurred often enough.

Lack of a search function is absolutely the #1 thing that keeps me from using this app. I am surprised this isn’t higher priority.
When I take Tylenol, for example (something I use sparingly) I don’t want to have to open the app, scroll down to the meds section, then scroll through that section to find it, and if it’s not on my list THEN have to go to edit section and either add or “turn on” the medication, then find an appropriate place on the list for it, then go back to the main page and track the tylenol I took. It’s too many steps and my adhd brain just can’t be convinced that it would be worth it.
I want to open the app, type “T-Y-L” into a search bar, see “Tylenol” pop up and click that and be taken to the time/dosage page.
The same way that I use the search function for virtually everything else on my phone.
Please!
Hi, I thought this was in the works a few years ago, any progress? Searching when a symptom happens throughout the day could cut down on the time it takes to complete the log at night, which is a barrier to consistency long-term. Even the ability to search within symptoms or factors (also in charts, otherwise that feature is pretty useless…) would help to start, especially if a universal search is on the roadmap.
