Streaks/achievements of all kinds

I’m trying to self-improve in several ways, from exercising to avoiding some foods and choosing some behaviors over others. I’m able to log most of these, but in addition to just a yes/no for each day, a streak option could make a big difference. I’d like to see it similar to, say, baseball streaks: - Current streak (e.g. “1 day without sugary snacks,” “exercised 3 days in a row,” “felt Super last 3 days,” etc.) - Last 10 days (e.g. “6 days without sugary snacks, 4 days with” or “exercised 6 days, didn’t exercise 4,” or “7 days Depressed, 3 days not Depressed) - Longest streak (e.g. “12 days without sugary snacks” or “15 days with at least some exercise” or “25 days felt Happy”)

That would really help me with perspective and momentum.

Streaks always motivate me in apps!

I used my last app for three years ONLY because of the streak function! Great idea. Would also be great for sticking to habits.

I’m considering moving from Daylio to Bearable, but the cheerful pop-ups around streaks and achievements push me to use the app daily. (Or multiple times daily.) It also really pushes me to do my physical therapy each day. I manage 7 conditions and take ~10 pills/day, so Bearable’s advanced functionality is really useful. But it’s only useful if I’m actually using it.

Along with this suggestion I would also like to option to NOT be reminded of certain streaks. I have a tendency to go back to old bad habits when I’m doing well in a certain area like not having sugar or too much caffeine. So the choice to opt out certain (not all) streak/accomplishment “announcements” would be good too.

For that, I’d probably create a Factor of “Avoided excess sugar.” I do that with Factors for junk food and night snacking. That way, I can see how they affect me in the correlations secrion (though it would be much better with a next-day option, @Bearable!). So if we had streaks, with that Factor in place you could see something like “Avoided excess sugar 5 days in a row!”

If this is implemented, it needs to be something you can turn off. The pop-ups in Daylio were very distressing to me.
