More languages

German language would be great. I know English and have no problems with it, but in general I would be in favor of translations into multiple languages.

Yes! My mom only knows German, but I’m sure she would love this app!

English is my first language, so I am fine with that, but a Japanese translation would be useful for the immersion strategy I use with all my apps that have a Japanese option

I’m fine with English as well. Only i find that sometimes I use English and sometimes Dutch to record my data, which contributes to some mess. Having multiple languages will help to have the app accessible to more people. I would totally be down to translate all the core text from English to Dutch for Bearable if that will help. Maybe there are more people who are willing to translate to their native language if wanted and needed?

Language support is a mayor feature that would have a huge impact on the app and attractiveness in different markets. The way people think about their health can have different implications in different languages. Especially if the person is not very advanced in English.

Also in such a personal and unfiltered manner you probably want to document it in your native language. The overall English language in the app then clashes with for example my German.

    Very important!!!

I could help with the translation to German, too. I already thought about offering it ;)

+1 And there are platforms that allow users to help with translation, e.g. crowdtranslate.io or crowdin.com

We had a related suggestion from another member of the community:

    “Add French language translation.

It would be convenient to have the app translated into French. My English is quite good, but sometimes I am not sure about the meanings of words, so I avoid using them (especially in the symptoms section).

    I can also help :)”

It would already help that the users could contribute to a translation. So if there were a translation file or something similar to add translations would be great.
