Choose Mood scale 1-10 or 1-5

Hello! I’d like to be able to customise or choose from a set of available levels, e.g for me it would be more valuable to rate my mood from 1 to 5 as 10 based rating is too detailed - I don’t think I can recognise whether my mood is 5 or 6 in 10-based, compared to 4 or 5 in 5-based. Thanks!

It would be nice to have the mood scale out of 5 so that it can be easily compared at a glance to the energy level scale, which is out of 5. Amazing app btw!

You COULD compromise in the mean time by only using the top or bottom row (like 2, 4, 6, 8, 10). But good point by Pearl about matching the energy factors, since those can often correlate.

I’d suggest that the user might not just tap a mood to pick it, but also swipe it and thus set its saturation. It would be very helpful for me as I’d get rid of multiplying moods to choose its severeness and get much more useful insights. For now, I’m even a bit avoiding filling the mood section as it’s too large and has little to no systematization (I’ve just ordered the moods by themes)

I was about to suggest this lol. I always tend to use a midpoint, because the 1-10 scale is a bit overwhelming to me.. I think having a smaller scale might make it easier for me TBH.

From a psychometric point of view (I’m a psychology PhD student), every scale should be at least from 1 to 7 or from -3 to +3. Some questions should be counted and not rated, for example, the amount of coffee cups, pills, alcohol, etc…
