Mark Medication Taken on Reminder Notification

The mirrored reminder from the phone is great, but if I could mark the medication taken either via an interactive tied to the notification or via an on-watch version of the app that would help a lot Especially on Apple Watch

Medicine reminders only if you haven’t had your dose yet I think it would be great if you had the choice to only receive a notification to take your medication or supplements if you haven’t entered taking your dose. I think it’s also necessary to be able to set some sort of daily recommended dosage for yourself.

If I’m reading it right https://changemap.co/bearable-/bearable-roadmap/task/5032-ability-to-add-meds-from/ is also another request for this feature.

This would be extremely useful for those of us with ADHD. I sometimes get distracted between taking my medication and opening the app to log it, and then end up forgetting to log it. If I could log it right from the reminder that would be great.

my biggest issue with Bearable is that the medication reminders (including birth control pills) do not have app shortcut actions for android or my smart watch. I will not bother tracking my birth control (or other meds) in bearable since it’s a pain in the ass compared to Medisafe.

James Clear recommends habit stacking. I have not been able to keep up with my bearable tracking simply because it’s not easy enough to use / incorporate with my routine. I do not have ADHD, so can’t blame that, I’m just a “normal” person.

I mark meds taken daily with my garmin watch with the MediSafe shortcut reminder. If Bearable had the same thing, I’d stop using MediSafe.

Bearable could then use habit stacking to motivate users to track more, add a message after logging meds “great job logging meds! How about a mood check-in?” With shortcuts for happy, sad, neutral emoji.

I’d wager that the majority of bearable users are able to keep the tracking habit for maybe a month then it falls off, and your users are losing out on the benefit of tracking.
