Skincare Routines

This could be covered easily by Habit Tracking features if they’re implemented but I’m curious if anyone else would be interested in specifically tracking skincare/shower/other self-care routines for things like dermatological conditions or just for improving mood and hygiene.

Since routines can get complicated and detailed, i’d look at something like https://www.feelinmyskin.com/ for ideas, the only reason I don’t like that app is because it doesn’t allow you to track whether you actually do your routine every day or not, it just lets you plan it out. It also doesn’t allow you to track the improvement of symptoms like Bearable does.

Bearable wouldnt need to add anything TOO complicated like the specific product catalogs with ingredients lists but having a routine option which has a bunch of subtasks for habit tracking could be useful, so you could edit when you change certain subtasks or have the same subtasks in multiple routines. The routine concept might be useful for other types of habits too, not just skin care.

Just some ideas I’ve been thinking about ^^ probably would end up very far down the road but I love the idea of Bearable being a sort of super-app that could consolidate a lot of different health things, especially since skincare is very much health tracking but people sometimes consider it only as a beauty thing, I think it would be good to have it connected to Bearable’s symptom tracking.

I would love this! I hate having to use a separate skincare app lol

I added all my skincare products as factors under “Personal care” and track them according to time period. I also added more specific symptoms for acne on different areas of my face, and “dry skin” “oily skin”, etc.

I’m very new to the app and haven’t really gotten into the insights yet, but I was assuming I’d be able to see the correlation between the skincare factors and symptoms after awhile. Does it not work like that?

Would be great if we could track skincare! eg. being able to see how much dairy products contribute to my acne eg. how lack of sleep contributes to my eczema
