A title/summary for the day

I realize that us paying users have the Extra Notes section, which is great for summing up the day in general. However, we still have to click to read each entry, so it may be difficult to keep the day straight at-a-glance, especially when trying to look back and remember the context of all the data you’ve been entering for the day.

I suggest that, for both paid and free users, we can get a very short text field at the top of each day, to put a short little summary. Basically, what we would title the day if it were a book or something.

Monday: Phys therapy, cats were funny Tuesday: Bro yelled at me, sad day Wednesday: Me n bro made up, pizza party Etc.

Just a quick way to jog our memory, and useful if we’re, for example, going through each day’s main events with a therapist to catch them up on how our week has been. I’ve been personally aching for this feature for that very reason, plus my memory is very bad, so I have a hard time remembering what happened when.

Also, it can help act as a placeholder for those of us who have trouble keeping up, and sometimes go back and fill in the days later. If I can’t remember what happened on what day, then I may put the wrong information.

But, if let’s say I’m able to just quickly fill in a title and nothing else for a couple days (due to being overwhelmed or super busy), then when I go back later to retroactively fill the necessary info in, I can look at that day’s title and go “Oh yeah, I felt ok in the morning, but then terrible in the afternoon because of that event,” and proceed to fill in the fields with renewed certainty.

TLDR; A short, character-limited (like maybe 35-40 or so characters) title for each day would help us take quick stock of a day where we don’t have time to fill everything in, awaken our memories when we DO have time to fill things in, and allow for much easier sharing of noteworthy events and moods with our support people.

100%. I love the idea of an end of day summary. Sometimes my average mood isn’t reflective of how I view the day. Sometimes my symptoms aren’t correlated to how good of a day or how bad of a day I had. And it is tough to go back through and find a day without mile markers like events that happened in life.

Hey just wanted to add to this: A very quick thing you could do in the meantime perhaps could be to emulate the Google Calendar feature where you can choose a sticker for a specific day as a note to your self.

This would show in the calendar and also at the top of the home page for each day, at the center of the day Square thing, maybe to the left of the mood emoji.

For example, I may want to add a sticker of a studying related emoji to denote the days where I studied a lot, for quick reference.

It would serve as a quick visual indication of what a day was most importantly about, so one can know before clicking on it so as to avoid having to check all days in a specific period to find specific days that we don’t remember the date of.
