Auto save without having to click done or ✓

I’d like any thing that I’ve pressed or selected to be saved in that state so I can keep it as is or add to it later.

I’m new to the app (Pixel 5a) and have not realized that I have not saved when I change screens. It’s a bit frustrating to realize you’ve selected stuff and it’s not saved

    Especially when adding food items under meals- have to hit return to get the item out of the text box into the list of foods for that meal. But then have to click on the tick too or lose your entries when you leave the page, no warning. Eek
