When putting in a emotion entry, it would be so good to directly link it to a factor. On a therapy day for instance, it may be marked as a very negative day, but linking “therapy” factor against an emotion input could help show the impact. (Seeing certain friends, hard at work, annoyed on a commute. etc)

Yes I think for post exertion malaise. Creating correlations that indicate the impact of doing something on subsequent days e.g. High intensity day triggers severe fatigue 2 days later. Or sore eyes tend to come before (and are a warnibg for) migraines. Or you did x recovery activity and it had y impact on mood and symptoms over the next 3 days

Journal entries could also have suggested/custom prompts. This would enable folks to use CBT-style strategies. For example, the first prompt reflection on feelings and triggers, then prompt users to check for common “thinking traps” like absolutism and mind-reading. Then prompt a re-framing exercise. Sanvello offers a similar journal activity.

Similarly a ‘Strongest correlations’ (top 5/10) view would be interesting. With the option to remove obvious ones like Late bedtime affects sleep time, etc.
