Overall "health/pacing" score on the homepage

Could be related to your usual baselines (similar to how e.g. Oura and Whoop have Readiness scores) and based on numerous things, which you could potentially customise (e.g Mood, symptoms, sleep, energy and even passive stuff like resting heart rate).

Some people will love this. But… if you do this… could you please make it to where it’s optional and I could turn it off or hide it if I wanted to? Because if I have one more thing telling me that I’m failing at health… I’d possibly quit using the app altogether if I couldn’t hide this.

Yes! I would want some combination of my HRV from Welltory, Body Battery from Garmin, personal rating of sleep and my deep and REM sleep. Of course, I’d have to be able to set the threshold for each factor and what level of overall “points” equals a “good/ready” day.

I really like this idea. Especially if I could have one mental score and one physical score.

Agreed. This would have to be customisable otherwise it’d quickly get into very dangerous territory, and even then I think extreme care would have to be taken to ensure that the feature were implemented sensitively and responsibly.

Idk :/ I feel like health is so different and individual for every person that I’m not even sure how you would really calculate a health score (everyone has different heart rates and optimal sleeping times for example). I personally think the symptom score does a pretty good job of this already.

I have found my pace point score in the visible app to be so helpful in managing my day so i that I don’t crash. Having the ability to sync that data or to input pace points manually would be awesome especially if it could be customized

I love this idea, and I agree making it customizable/hideable is important for some folks who may see the word pacing as a trigger. I’m thinking of pacing in terms of avoiding post-extertional malaise (exacerbation of my symptoms after too much activity). I already have a Fitibit device I wish Bearable could use that data to help me pace myself more (I wish it could provide real-time pacing alerts like Visible). As an autistic person (with interoception differences), I often struggle to recognize when I have pushed myself too far with activity and figure out where the sweet spot with activity is.

I would like it if either Bearable collaborated with Visible or competed with them (by integrating with wearable tracking devices more). Bearable is more affordable than Visible and I don’t think I could afford Visible though (most people with chronic illnesses/disabilities like myself struggle financially).
