Random reminders option for general reminders

I’m using 3rd party app to remind me to track my mood and energy throughout the day. It gives me 10 reminders from 8am to 10pm throughout the day (assume uniform distribution). By randomizing reminders I accomplish two things - more representative data while at the same time making it possible to make entries more sparse. The reason it’s more representative is because if I only have reminder at the same time, the only thing I’m tracking is my state at that time, so looking at dynamics of how I feel in general throughout the day becomes biased. Randomizing entry times brings more uniform distribution and that’s where I can save on the number of notifications because it’ll still be representative with fewer instances compared to trying to log every hour (as example).

I’m using 3rd party app (Randomly RemingMe on Android). It’d be great to have it past of the app’s reminders as option.

I’ve been doing randomized reminders for a few weeks and really happy with data now.

At bare minimum I think having to specify time range and number of daily reminders. A stretch is perhaps to have applicable days.

    “Random Reminder Times

I have bad ADHD. When reminders come in at the same time for the same thing everyday I ignore them. I becomes “oh that annoying 10am reminder, I’ll do it in a second” and then I never do it.

If I had the option to set a window (say between 9am and noon) and have the reminder pop up randomly in that window I would actually look at it, read it and do it.”
