Noticed today time entry is now set to scrolling to find the time. I know this is just my opinion/preference, but I absolutely despise scrolling to enter times. Can we get an option to choose which type of time of time entry method we want to use? Analog clock (like it was), keyboard entry, or scrolling entry.

Also seconding that I’m seeing that entering times for stuff is fixed to scrolling through numbers. I wasn’t sure if it was my phone, or the app. Seeing that another user has this, and my other apps don’t, I’m assuming it’s the update that just went through today.

To be very honest, having to scroll through the time rather than having an analog clock will make me much more unlikely to use the app. Is there a way to make it an option in the settings menu with units of measure? I understand some people cannot read analog clocks, but scrolling is also an accessibility issue. Having a choice would be ideal

I am getting extremely frustrated scrolling through all the numbers to input times. It takes a lot more time and concentration than just tapping on a general area on an analog clock. Even the ability to type in a time would be better than this. Either one is fine tbh. I’m often retroactively making entries for med times and sleep cycles, so I’m having to do this several times a day, or even all at once. Sometimes, I don’t have the mental bandwidth to deal with another frustration so I end up not entering data :/

Thanks so much for posting about this and I’m sorry for the trouble this is causing.

You’ll be glad to hear that the team has already begun work on returning the time entry interface back to the previous design. This should be available within the next couple of weeks, so please keep an eye on the Play Store for an update soon.

One of the packages we were using to show the clock interface is no longer supported and so we’re having to rebuild our own version of it which is why we’re unable to implement a fix more quickly. Hopefully, you won’t have to wait for too long though.

Aaah you guys are so awesome 😭 that’s got to be really frustrating to have something like that break and have to fix it. Tbh knowing a fix is in the works will probably decrease my frustration level 😅
