Choose same-day or next-day in favorite correlations

Most correlations I track apply to the next day. Ate too much, High Sodium, Highly Active, etc. compared to Mood, Time Asleep, Energy Level, etc. But the numbers look REALLY out of whack in the Favorite Correlations table because it’s measuring SAME-DAY impacts. I want NEXT-DAY impacts at a glance. I know I can get there with some digging, but the Favorite Correlations table isn’t much use to me if I can’t view next-day impact right away. I’ve had to make several new Factors (Overate Night Before, etc.), but that’s effectively duplicating factors, and that just complicates things. The ability to set Favorite Correlations to next-day effects would massively improve its usefulness.

Hey! Thank you for this suggestion. I think this is a great idea. Where would you like we put this option? As a toggle under the Favourite correlations title? Or in the settings accessible via ‘+Add/Edit’?

Or any other suggestions of how it should look like?

A same-day/next-day toggle sounds fantastic! Perhaps with the ability to do separate correlation lists for each. That would be wonderful, and it would instantly double my use and value for Bearable! Thank you!

    Yes!

I’ve been thinking the exact same thing. The most useful approach would be through the “+ Add/Edit”-settings, where each factor could be specified by the user.

In the correlations table, to make it easy to grasp which relationships are same-day or next-day, perhaps the different time comparisons can be marked with specific symbols under the factor name.

I think this should be generalized a bit, to allow us to track correlations between various time periods. Right now we can track symptoms and factors for various times of day; it would be nice to test time-based correlations for later in the same day, the next day, or even future days.

I might want to see if a particular breathing exercise can improve my mood in the next few hours, say.

Or if a new stretching routine has lasting improvements.

Agree with this one, most of the correlations I’d like to track are for next day. For instance if I’ve had a busy day or socialised a lot I’ll be tired or in pain the next day. I can’t currently see that from Bearable.

I’d also prefere a toggle to keep it easy but it would be great if it was like the other one where you can choose between same day, next day, next couple of days. For diseases like ME/CFS it’s important to see the impact during the next day/next days. This would make the app useful to people with this disease as well.

Yes yes yes! I want to know if caffeine in the AM increase mood in the middle of the day!
