Additional symptom descriptors

So I have migraines and a lot of the time I want to be able to track a lot of the qualities of my migraine beyond just it’s severity - for example, where is it? Is it on one side or both sides? Is it at the front of the head or at the back of the head? Right now I track these as additional symptoms but I feel like the location of my migraine shouldn’t really count into my daily symptom score, even though it’s an important factor for me to track

Another way this can be used is to have pain descriptors such as aching, stabbing, throbbing, etc. They aren’t symptoms of their own but really just descriptors of a symptom

Hi! Thank you for this suggestion.

How would you ideally be able to do this?

Do you find the ‘Add note’ function helpful? If not what are it’s limitations?

I don’t really use the notes because I can’t use them for insights. If I want to use notes I essentially have to go through every entry and see how often I have a stabbing pain vs an aching pain. For my Migraines, it would be really nice to see exact numbers and percentages for these descriptors (eg, 50% of your Migraines happen on both sides, 25% have an aching pain, smth like that)

I think ideally I would have an optional pop up for symptoms where you can describe these descriptors, and you can add any type of descriptor you like (have a button somewhere nearby the symptom to have the pop up show up)
