Adding a Sleep meditation audio and Breathwork video experiment

These will be the first multimedia experiments we have. More will follow, but first we’ll work on the ability to create custom experiments.

An audio of the sleep breathing experiment would be great as how it is currently means I have to stare at the screen to do it which is not conducive to sleep.

This is too much jumbled into one app. There are many other apps that already do this. Need to focus on delivering key high demand functionality well.

Seconding the thought that I’d really prefer to keep this as a logging analysis app. One of the things that made me choose Bearable instead of other apps is the fact that it doesn’t try and fix my problems. It just tries to help me figure out what they are.

I personally would really like to have everything in one app and think it could work fine as long as you can opt out :)

I already have another app for this. Don’t overload. Apps can take up so much space now. Seriously… ‘stay in your lane’ here

I don’t think the above read “experiment”—I almost didn’t either. I see no reason not to add it, however a suggestion for source would be fantastic! I, and likely others, came to this app in part because it’s not bloated with AI slop, but what is? Sleep sound apps/videos/spotify songs.

I recently got a clock with a noise and ambiance feature and thought it would be nice to have an app for the same on my phone. There’s no shortage of them, but it you want an app or sounds made by a human, you need a time machine to 2018!

Perhaps you could even make one? (I personally do like feature-rich apps; less relearning, fewer accounts, fewer subscriptions, fewer security risks. But I found Bearable pretty overwhelming at first, so if you incorporate a sound feature, it should be hidden by default until the user digs in the menu, or added as a part of a full interface overhaul to enable extra stuff)
