Ability to rate the Symptom Groups themselves + insights for these

Could be useful for:

  1. Quick entry for days you don’t want to enter all individual symptoms
  2. Insights based on groups, not just individual symptoms

I have several groups of symptoms, and it would be extremely useful to be able to see insights and effects on, say, the migraine group, without looking at each individual symptom or all symptoms at once. It makes it hard to tell what might be affecting a group of related symptoms (as opposed to overall health), and makes days look worse than they are. It would also be useful for bringing health history to medical appointments, when discussing a specific issue.

I too use symptom groups based on different diagnoses. It would be extremely helpful to see the graphs and insights for symptom groups rather than total symptoms as my groups are unrelated.

It would make logging easier if we could use the “tap if no symptoms” button for individual symptom groups, too (e.g. “no Respiratory symptoms”)

This would be super useful to see how my different conditions are doing at any given time (my symptoms are grouped by condition)

This would be so helpful. I have multiple digestives symptoms that don’t always happen at the same time. I’ve had to reduce the other things I was tracking (ex. anxiety and menstrual cycle) because they were inflating my symptom score and I wanted to be able to see easier how certain factors were affecting my digestive symptoms overall, not individual symptoms. Right now the only way to do that is to look at the overall symptom score, which is why I’ve stopped tracking other things.

We had another member of the community request something similar:

“Symptom categories available for tracking in every section. Currently, you can only track total symptom score and individual symptoms, not whole symptom categories (for example “digestive”). We get numbers on the trends section, but not the ability to see them on the graph, which would be useful. This feature of being able to select symptom categories as well anywhere you can already select total symptom score or individual symptoms seems like it would be relatively simple to add to all sections, including the experiments and impacts sections, and would be very useful!”

This would actually be so good to see more averages. Sometimes (when not having a very extensive backlog of past data yet) some symptoms and be linked to a specific factor, more heavily or less heavily then they probably do effect it because of it effecting other things too, or coincidences. It would be very helpful to be able to see effects on groups of symptoms to mitigate this.

I don’t think I explained that very well, so as an example; I have a group of symptoms for my types of emotional reactions including meltdowns and shutdowns (just 2 to keep it simple for this example) When checking the correlations, going to a doctors appointment somewhat increases my chance of having a meltdown. It also somewhat increases my chance of having a shutdown. But if I look at the section for both emotional reactions, having a doctors appointment actually has a very big correlation. This would then be very helpful to know so that when I have a doctors appointment in the future, I can make sure to take extra care of myself that day, and make sure not do or book in anything else that takes up my energy.

Anyways, please add this it would be super helpful for me and many others
