Ability to add causes for moods/symptoms

I’d like to be able to tag why something is happening and why I’m feeling a certain way. Like, if I say that I’m feeling “loved, frustrated, and embarrassed”, I’d like to be able to say that loved=partner, frustration=job, and embarrassment=social interaction or something like that. Same with symptoms. I have chronic hip and leg pain; I’d love to be able to tag more specific causes or details, like that it was aggravated by standing too long or that I randomly got a sharp pain in my right thigh. Those would benefit me being able to keep a log for my doctors and my therapist.

I suppose that, for now, you could add it in a note when you’re entering your moods and symptoms.

I’m going to add a couple of comments from other users that I think are somewhat related:

“Adding to mood: “is this due to something specific”

I have a lot going on including a sick cat. Sometimes I click mood, it’s low and even though I can add a little note underneath and click symptoms it would be nice to have a little checkbox to make sure it’s not just overall or something specific at that exact moment.”

“Make mood tracker more inline with Apple Health

When I log my mood in Bearable, I find that the overall value for each day is not useful to me because it almost always averages to a value somewhere in the middle (5-6). This is because I like to record my mood often throughout the day as it fluctuates, and I tend to feel extreme emotions for brief periods. Apple Health has a mood tracking system that records EMOTIONS, which are these little snapshots throughout the day, and it also allows you to select an overall MOOD which applies to the day as a whole. The mood selection is what appears in the calendar overview, and I find it a lot more valuable because it shows actual variation.

As an example, I find that I might be having an overall good/great day, but I’ll have a moment where I have some extremely negative emotions because of an interaction with someone. I want to record this because it helps me to log and identify emotions in order to process them, BUT this will drag down my average for the day into the middle range even if the overall day was great. This makes insights and the year in pixels less useful to me because the mood value stays so steady, which isn’t an accurate representation.

Additional little P.S., if it was possible to sync Bearable mood entries with Apple Health’s emotions I would find that really useful because I won’t have to log this data twice. Thank you!!!”
