Add "Done Logging" or "Mark Day Complete" function

I’d like a way to mark a day completed at the end of the day, or a way to say that I’m done logging. This would allow me to know that I have filled bearable out completely, and I don’t have to keep wondering if I missed something or forgot to log, because I have marked it complete.

This would look like a button at the end of the page. You would press it, and a modal would come up showing you’ve completed the day. It could also have stats for the day like “today’s symptoms were % better than yesterday.” If people are having difficulties with the ‘mark empty as none’ button, you could move that functionality to the complete day button, so that people aren’t accidentally clicking it and only marking none after they’re fully done logging.

In the calendar bar at the top of the page, the days that are marked complete would have a green checkmark so you can easily see which days you completed logging and which ones you did not.

An app that does this well is “loseit”. It has a toggle at the bottom called “done logging”

If you have goals you didn’t complete, it would automatically skip them so you don’t have to do that manually.

If there is a Streak added to the app, the streak would be based on competing the day, vs. simply opening the app

I’ve been using this for several days and while I like the concept, I’m finding this implementation a bit frustrating.

I’m sure this is impatience on my part, but the day completion screen takes time that I don’t feel I have to spare. It feels interminably slow before I can progress past the screen. Ideally I’d prefer it be a toast notification that didn’t prevent any interaction, or that it was immediately dismissible. It looks to me like the modal popup/animation is 1 to 1.5 seconds before I can hit the “let’s go” button, it just feel like forever when what I want to do is move to the next day and fill out a few morning entries.

Maybe my opinion will change if there was more helpful information on the modal, though I’m skeptical. I just kind of hate unskippable animations in general.

Overall I love the app, though!
