Ability to open photo in Photos

In browsing through prior dates, I come across photos that need to be rotated, or a bunch of the same photos I’d like to cull down. I’d love to be able to jump to that photo in the Photos app, as trying to find that specific photo again can be tedious.

    I want this too! I’m just not sure if it’s possible.

    I vaguely recall looking into it last year, and not being able to find any way to do it. Which seems silly. Surely there must be a way for an app to open the Photos app for a specific photo. So I’ll have a look through the Apple docs again - maybe I missed something last time.
