Export of activity view image (for a time range)

The activity view makes a nice summary view of a particular activity for a day. But it’s a bit taller than a screenshot can fit, and only allows day/week/month granularity. It would nice to be able to export a specific time range as an image.

Yeah, export of activity views is something that needs to be explored in the Arc 3.X series.

I think the first step will be simply to export the data as long screenshots of the summary views - the same as the timeline “export to image” works at the moment. That’s an easy first step, and at least gets us something, which is better than nothing!

But from there, as you say, it would be useful to have some sort of more appropriate presentation (and date range flexibility). So I think the activity exporting functionality should evolve over time, starting from the most basic export, then getting smarter as we all start making use of those exports, and become more aware of what they’re lacking and what would suit our needs better.

I’m hoping to get that first small step into perhaps Arc 3.1, and if not 3.1, then definitely 3.2. Arc 3.1 is targeted for release next month, with the goal being that 3.1 will come out around the same time as iOS 13 going final.
