There are many different ways to play music, not just Apple Music and Spotify. If Arc were to support each one, that would add up to a lot of extra development time for me.

So I’ve made the decision to only support the universal system of Last.fm, which all music playing services can (in one way or another) log their track plays to.

Because Arc only has one developer, and it is a large and complex project, I have to be strict about what I do and don’t add to the app. There simply isn’t enough hours in the day to add everything that people want (or even I want).
