I have quite a few duplicate places (maybe due to the Moves import?). I realized that when I compared the visit count of a place with a search result for that place. A search&merge for duplicates would be nice!
This might be covered by the suggestion to move all visits from one place to another?
I think the “move visits to other place” can be a great solution to this problem. But I also think that Arc should auto detect some of these duplicates, and automatically merge them itself.
So for that reason I think it’s worth keeping this as a separate feature request 😄
Be careful about not auto-merging places which are simply very close to each other.
In my case I’m talking about places with exactly the same name.
I also have this problem with bad lovation data inside buildings. Arc has 3 different locations for my home that I would like to merge. And also work location is also “all over the place”.
