Specific, personalized steps to take at retirement

A way to get actionable, account-specific, time-ordered steps we should take when we begin retirement.

I would love to have a page to see specific individual steps at specific times, add an account specific level of detail, E.G. - Sept 2025: switch health insurance to spouse’s plan or purchase via outside provider - Sept 2025: liquidate $30k from Fidelity account #1234, prioritizing long lots (held over 1 year). Use to cover living expense for next 3 months. - Nov 2025: sell investment property “123 FooBar St” and deposit proceeds into Chase savings account #5678

I’ll add this now, but with caveats.

Your suggestion may fall more into the category of financial advice, which is not something ProjectionLab provides at this time.

From your example, it also sounds a bit more in the weeds, and working and operating at the level of a budgeting app (monthly cash flow), which is not currently the intent of ProjectionLab.

I see the request as more of an itemized description of what actions are happening or what PL might be doing behind the scenes (= not financial advice):

e.g. if a withdrawal is needed from Taxable Investments to cover current year expenses, the output ‘report’ says how much and from what account to effect the withdrawal in real life.

or: if you have Roth Conversions set up, it could itemize how much you are doing each year and from what account (basically a line by line of what is already in the editor within that Account’s Roth Conversions editor), so in this conversions case just summarizing what user has already input into PL.
