Housing - US Tax estimation for primary residence home sale

The opposite of what we were talking about on discord. Since US Tax estimation already includes a primary residence exemption for sale of home. You could give the option to remove this exemption or set a percentage to reduce the benefit.

    Also, Improvements (not maintenance) should increase the cost basis when calculating the taxes on home sales. Probably needs to come with a tooltip to clarify the difference between maintenance of improvements. If folks aren’t sure, or want to be pessimistic, everything can modeled as Maintenance.

    On that note, I’ve only notice a way to enter an annual improvements expense that is ongoing. What about a way to just enter “total improvements made” as a one-time value.
