SmartGymApp

Improve workout support by recognizing strength training metrics such as total volume, sets, reps, estimated 1RM, muscle groups trained, and weekly training load from apps like SmartGym, and others.

SmartGymApp is a strength training app for iOS. Not possible as this app does not make any of its data available to users by API or by writing its metrics to Apple Health, as far as I can tell.

Please make suggestions for integrations that are specific to a single app or service at a time, not an entire class of tracking.

I’m confused. this request is for a SINGLE APP - the app is called SmartGym. I even provided a link to the actual app. Here it is again - https://smartgymapp.com Please re-evaluate this.

Does SmartGym work with Fitness+ and other apps? Yes. SmartGym tracks workouts from any app that writes to Apple Health, including Apple Fitness+, the built-in Apple Watch Workout app, and other third-party fitness apps. These workouts are integrated into your existing analytics like Workout Summary and Muscle Recovery, so all your training data lives in one place.

I’ve updated the suggestion to be specifically for SmartGymApp, yes.

For Exist to be able to integrate an app, that app must make its data available to other services. This is often in the form of providing an “API”, but it’s also fine if it writes the data to Apple Health. SmartGymApp does not seem to do either, which makes it not possible. We can’t integrate an app that keeps all of its data locked inside the app :)
