Home temperature (Nest)

This temperature could come from a smart thermostat (e.g. Nest) or perhaps from your sleep tracker (e.g. Withings Aura)

I’m currently getting home temperature readings from a few sources:

    • NetAtmo Thermostat which is HomeKit-enabled so we should be able to get the temperature data from the iOS app.
    • Elgato Eve Room which is also a HomeKit device. I’ve got three of these sprinkled around the house to get local temperatures from different rooms.
    • Withings Smart Body Analyser. I’m not sure why my scales want to know the current temperature, but it’s another room covered. :)
    • Estimote iBeacons which I haven’t got set up yet.

Gathering data from HomeKit-enabled devices in general would be pretty awesome!

This would be fantastic but one issue I see here is that I, like many people, have multiple Nests in my house. I’d love to see bedroom temp and humidity but of course I’d have to be able to choose which Nest to use. Another option would be a SmartThings sensor (I have one in the bedroom), which also provides lux.

I’d love to be able to track indoor temperature and humidity via http://www.sensorpush.com

Hey Ingrid, doesn’t look like SensorPush has an API so this one isn’t possible. Any other services you’d like to see, please add as a new suggestion.

It might make more sense to use Home Assistant (or maybe just HomeBridge if an API is available) so you can abstract the individual smart device into a generic integration
