Have major news stories/trending topics as a possible reason for mood/activity changes. Example- the shooting in Vegas has definitely played a role in my mood (possible link to the amount of coverage/discussions/etc.)
I haven’t thought through how we’d do this, or how feasible it is, but this is a really interesting idea.
Attached to timeline (see above) but would have to let the user select in settings what you’re of news that want captured.
This is a really neat idea.
The hard part is figuring out what news events the user is aware of. I don’t watch the news, but sometimes things cross my radar. Things that affect everyone, like the pandemic or when the Twin Towers fell - those I’d say would be most important to track. For smaller things, maybe integrate apps people use to get their news from?
I recently added custom tags for news-good and news-bad, because I was sure I would find some correlation with all the recent Bad News, clenching my jaw etc. We probably aren’t supposed to discuss politics here but let me put it this way: my relatives would be using the ‘news-good’ tag this past week! 🙄ðŸ«
