Use another analytics service

Update: we’re not longer using Google Analytics, we don’t have any analytics on the site.

Both Ackee (https://ackee.electerious.com) and Matomo (https://matomo.org) are self-hosted solutions storing almost no personal data or if they do (Matomo can collect a lot if setup that way and you like) keep it on your own servers.

    Or Plausible. Many companies are switching to Plausible atm. And it seems like it might be the ‘main alternative’ to Ganalytics

    Maybe a tip for those who really want no Google stuff. I use TrackerControl to block any Ganalytics.

    my vote for Matomo, I have been dealing with their support team working on a few projects - they are great.
